I am also thankful to UW for making me sense the world in a different way... Recently, i was inspired by the "city walk" recordings.

Last time I was waiting around in the airport terminal, I closed my eyes and just listened. The footsteps, mumblings, snippets, shoe shiners, high heels passing, jets leaving, everything melded together. There's so much that you can really appreciate in the details. Along with it came a sense of happiness. Funny how something as simple as closing your eyelids can do that for you.

And i remembered an uwlive diary when Karl was sitting around Logan airport listening to "Logan Radio" and a bitching couple. Brought a smile to my face realizing that Karl was here, doing the same thing about a week earlier.

SO.... yeah. UW, keep on inspiring me and doing what you do. You make me appreciate the world in ways i never knew possible. Don't know if this is relevant to the thread, but it feels appropriate. Whatever?
