Re: The Orb - The Dream
If I was, like, a little girl. I would be, like, singing and skipping in a new yellow dress with pony tails and bow ties.( and you know, like wasn't bald).

I have listened to this twice and have to say, I have to get used to the humour thing. Not much into it yet. There's Dub all over this though, hmmmm

Yeah, i find the Orb's humor on some of the albums, er, quirky to say the least. The several tracks that have minutes of silence are unfunny, though.

LPO= Le Petit Orb

Patterson & Fehlmann will play gigs as LPO.

The few clips I've heard from the album did not impress me or make me want to buy it. I know it's not fair to judge the album on just those short clips, so looking forward to giving the whole album a proper listen.

Re: The Orb - The Dream
Definetely surprised me to see an Orb album with so many tracks. It's good, better than Cydonia and Bikes & Trikes anyway. So far it's been a little hard to get used to the lack of any real theme, and a few of the vocals caught me off guard, but I agree that this is a lot closer to their Ultraworld sound. I don't think it's quite as good as Okie Dokie was, but then again I really loved that album, and I guess in the meantime there's all of Thomas Fehlmann's solo work. Speaking of which, is Fehlmann on this one?
