Re: Stranger Than Fiction
Perhaps I'm taking the brown acid or drinking the red kool aid but this film was not anything spectacular or worth writing home about.

It was a clever idea that wasn't really followed through on. As to why everyone is so blown away by it is beyond my comprehension at this point. It felt too gimicky and it had to adhere to standard conventions instead of deviating from them, which I was hoping it would do. There were even a couple of glimmers of hope along the horizon via some jokes and a mention of Calvino, but clearly that was more name dropping by the overhyped screenwriter than anything else.

Exiting the auditorium people were going on and on about how great it was. I could see how someone might like it, but to call it a great film is a bit of a stretch.

Re: Stranger Than Fiction
I thought it was okay. Tried too hard. Weak writing.
