APT is such a TERRIBLE venue for Beyer. I have never had a comfortable time dancing there because it is laid out mostly for people to stand there and sip drinks while nodding their heads.

Not like I would have made it out anyway becuase i'm still reeling from ILT but man what a travesty that one is.....

As for being anti-Cielo.... Have you been GforGroove? I know the meatpacking crowd is lamer than lame, but Cielo is a super dope venue. The sound in there is incredibly tight. I'm definitely going to see Trentemoller there on Thursday.

APT for Beyer was fun as hell last night, even though I didn't stay for the whole thing. It never got insanely packed, and there was room to dance...as long as you don't flop around and dance like a prick. Oh, and Beyer's beats were awesome...as always.

Glad to hear Beyer was good....

While I think I get what you are saying there's a difference for me between having room to kind of rock back and forth rhythmically and occasionally pound my fist and having room to DANCE. I like to have a nice 1 foot radius around me which I can freely move about in and actually rock some serious moves without having to stop every five seconds because someone wants to get by.

I'm curious though, where's the line between "dancing like a prick" and busting out some more elaborate moves? is it in the skill level?

Are you heading to Cielo on Thursday? meetup?

yeah i went to see Ada and it's ok, just the crowd give me the shits .
Hiro could be such a great venue too if it weren't for the lamecore.
i forgot about Trentenmoller too..

Digitalis plays next week at Hiro and i might try...because i really want to check those guys.
