Peggy Sussed (Pete Heller Mix)
A rip from a DJ set if anyone wants to hear it.

Re: Peggy Sussed (Pete Heller Mix)
as a point of note the Peggy Sussed - Main Final mix that was previously mentioned is in fact the Peggy Sussed - Pete Heller Vox Mix, the dub mix is a bit dubbier and has minimal vocals...

in fact of all the current mixes the Peggy Sussed Mix by Pete Heller is IMO the best, its the most commercially acceptable and Underworld 'sounding' and really is a worth club play. The Jal mixes are also close second.

Re: Peggy Sussed (Pete Heller Mix)
indeed, professor and i have been using this mix in our sets for a couple months already. awesome mix, despite Eikman's bitter opinion. hopefully UW will choose to play a version more closely resembling Hellers mix when they perform live. the original just sounds plodding and laboured in comparison.

Re: Peggy Sussed (Pete Heller Mix)
Thanks for sharing this, Badger!

Not too excited overall...the invariant keyboard pattern gets old and sounds a lil dated. It reminds me a lot of Heller's remixes of the Chemical Brothers' "star guitar" or one of the Push remixes (Adam Beyer, maybe? i forget which), except those at least kept elements of the original. In fact, if not for the little loop of Karl's voice, this doesn't resemble UW or the original. In fairness, it is a dub version. The Main Final Vocal mix played on the dirtyradio show, if that was done by Heller as well, is much nicer, imho. i agree that if they play keep playing Peggy Sussed live, giving it a bit more danceability is good. The original, cool as it is, just kind of builds and bangs into your head. good for the EP, ouchie for hearing in concert on the big speakers!

Re: Peggy Sussed (Pete Heller Mix)
this mix is a bit shit. The one on the UWlive broadcast was awesome though.
