anything artistic or involving cell phone is out of my league because:

a. i am the worst artist in the world
b. i have an old phone (by preference) which does not do photo's

so either of these options would preclude me from a tag

I think a reasonable directive would be for each of us to submit an article that we can call our own work that may perhaps be displayed if that's what's wanted - things like the suggested pictures from phones would suit, as would poetry or even a precious memory. Maybe even a submission of a small article that isn't your own work that you feel should be brought to the attention of everyone as part of a collage of submissions. You could even send in a picture of any kids you have and say "I made that!".

I think this is pretty reasonable, that way everyone gets to offer something in the realm of their ability. A much better solution especially for those of us who intentionally have simple non-camera phones.

ya, ally's idea is good, but i'd say having it nicely digitized would be key if it is a non-digital peice
