Re: art school confidential
Started off loving it, but was disappointed by the second half....or at least by the last third. Having not known what to expect going in, I was enjoying the initial comedy, which was exactly what set me up to be let down by the total genre-twist it took by the end.

On a personal level though, I loved seeing how dead-on accurate they were in their portrayal of art school. I brought my wife to it mainly so she could see what my life was like for a few years back in the early 90's when I was at CalArts, and a few years before that when I took summer classes at Pratt. She came out saying she had enjoyed the way they caricatured all the typical art school students, and I told her they weren't actually caricatures. I think she got a much deeper understanding of what it was like because of this film.
