i was in the dance tent the night before watching Primal Scream (and avoiding Radiohead) so I went to the Acoustic tent to see the Beth Orton followed by the Bootleg Beatles who were top notch! The Dance tent for the scream was chaos so i didnt want to do it again, and it was a real pain walking around with several kilos of mud stuck to my boots...

the tent was rammed for the scream, could hardly get in, so hung around outside listening to bobby's terrible singing while necking the last of a bottle of southern comfort i felt the next day

Tiger you star. I was absolutely smashed. First I got drunk then staggered over to the dance tent as the sun was goin down. These 6 scousers were all skinning up and I was the only one with a lighter I gave them the light they needed to see what they were doing then offered them all lights. In return these joints were windmilling round and as the scream came on, I had to hold onto the poles of the tent to stand up Ace gig but youre right, Bobby's voice was a bit fucked. Throb was on top form tho and I wanted to check out Mani on bass as it was his first tour since leaving the Stone Roses.
