If you google: "Digger Dagger" you will probably find a reference to a chant by fans of Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club (nickname: The Daggers). The club is situated in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. I suspect it's not a coincidence that Twenty Three Blue contains the words Digger and Dagger.

With that out of the way, I'm going to be bold and act as though I'm a regular contributor around these parts by having a bash at some lyrics. I know there are errors here, but hey, it's a start

A slight necropost, but this track never leaves my head and I can't believe there aren't most postings about the lyrics and the song. I so wish they'd release it as a single (or within a single release). Not on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon - almost doesn't exist. But those who've heard it clearly love it.
