I'm pretty sure the vote 'counted' even if you didn't "like" the website...

anyways - the competition has two parts
1) is just like a 'fan favorite' and is about how many votes you get
2) is a normal, straight forward juried evaluation...

...I'm hoping that I do well on the juried portion... I only had my portfolio up for a short time (only the last few days - and I know people were like soliciting for votes like a week ahead of me) but I know I got something like 140-150 votes, so that's pretty cool
