It's... meh. I don't know. I came in really excited and it was just... oh, I don't know. It's just a drum loop, some synths, and Karl going "And it's okayyyyy...". It gets a bit interesting when he starts singing other lyrics but then goes right back to the "chorus". Why couldn't they just have done a studio version of YDS? It was mammoth! It was practically perfect! This is just a really weak Drum & Bass song!

My sentiments exactly. Still going to purchase and support the boys, but trying to reserve judgment until hearing the full length of it.

I'm not mourning the "loss" of the old YDS, mind. That version exists perfectly on the Electraglide disc, so I'm not looking for the same old thing.

Just feels a bit like the air got let out of my balloon (or giant stage inflatable).

Still psyched for new album!

The thing is, people would have complained it was a clone of an old release from five years ago, but people will complain of the radical change like this which is for the good imo.

Honestly I could care less if YDS is a single or not, I'm kind of glad they are releasing totally new stuff, I just wish those 'old' tracks would come back...not to say AHDO was bad, it was a good album and all, however I kind of wondered if they had lost it a little without Emerson, but YDS was the track that to me said they were still great and maybe even better than before, so it'll always be special to me.

It's hard to appriciate just how great UW are in that sense..can't think of any group that has so many great unreleased tracks...
