Re: The 2009/10 season starts here
he's compact and bijou, is very handy for transport links (be they helicopter or horse and cart) and has the advantage of being totally detached... he's grade 1 listed and therefore improvement would be a struggle...

Re: The 2009/10 season starts here
Apparently Hull and Stoke are interested in Owen now... lol. If he does sign for them it will be a one season deal and only to advertise another "come and get me" ploy especially if he goes injury free...

Fergie is a genius, so who knows... (matt tracks back....) (can i delete previous posts !!!!) seriously though ( ) if it is a pay as you play thing - there's no real risk, its not like we're paying £16m or whatever for him... ![]() Sam Alerdyce didn't want to take the risk two days ago because Blackburn need a striker to play 30 games, whereas United will use Owen when they need to (if he stays fit) also, at Newcastle he was in a team that gave him no service, now with Giggs, Valencia, Berbatov and Rooney providing, maybe he'll get back on the goal trail, United need an out-and-out striker, haven't had one since Ruud nonetheless i'm still shocked... btw in less shocking news: did you know Michael Jackson died last week??
