True. Although some of the blame for this mentality has to clearly fall on Democrats as well. I NEVER approved of the "not my President" bumper stickers and vocal sentiments we were hearing from Dems when Bush was elected, and this is a good example of why. If Bush didn't have to be accepted as the legitimate President by liberals, then why should conservatives be expected to suddenly be gracious and accepting about an Obama win?

Now why can't Republicans say that Obama "bought" the election? Or that the DNC handed him the nomination that should have gone to Hillary when they made their ruling on how many delegates from Michigan and Florida should be seated? Or whatever else they might be able to dream up? Because if we're being honest, Bush was elected both times, like it or not. The refusal to recognize him as a legitimate President was a mistake.

there's a google search result page for "Obama Bought Election". notice the tons of results linking to articles and blog posts saying he bought the election? it's happening already and started before he was actually elected.
