Re: Can we stop pwning every pwning thread!
alright.

So I asked nicely.

Now let's get serious - conversation is seriously lacking around here. We're mainly blokes. We're in a section of the board that's meant to be about sport.

So lets be blokes and banter about sport.

Not just snide remarks about the score - and "Booyah, sucks to be you Liverpool scum."

But decent rants - descriptions - rational arguments - dummy spits - analysis - incoherent arguments - drunken debates. Where are they?

I mean over in the uw section - you've got trainspotters discussing samples they overheard while eating a chicken korma - and that turns into several pages of navel gazing.

We're here to discuss the beautiful game - the sweet science of the ring - the passion of rugby - the insanity of cricket - the long hot summer of baseball - the intensity of the Tour - the hoop dreams of March madness - the marvels of F1 and the WRC - the list goes on and on.

And right now we're all we're doing is spelling "owned" incorrectly and using it as the sum total of our venting.

We can be better than that can't we?

I can't supply any ales to lubricate the creative angst and the potential Norman Mailers out there - but I will try to post more myself.

And if you're not a bloke - don't let that stop you - I was merely making the point that sport is one thing blokes are usually decent at.

Onwards.
