Nah, i don't hate PD. My comment was that imho, while themes and call-backs are fine, it doesn't work well to include almost the same set of lyrics twice on an album. After hearing Push Upstairs, PD comes off as sounding like a remix or like there was a scarcity of ideas. On its own, it's quite nice. I wasn't too keen on SLaM for a long while until i forced myself to remix it (back in the 2003 dirty remix competition) and got interested in the bassline and female vocal clips. Still, neither are my fave.
Think the point here is, pretty much every album has that one song (or occasionally more) that doesn't resonate with you and we'd rather replace with a B side or different version. I like seeing other people's lists of ideal tracks, because changing the order or tunes can really affect the mood of an album. Like Pete Tong said (for what its worth): "Underworld really is an albums band". He's actually kinda right!
