Hi guys, if you visit the forums and see this post then i'm gonna be self indulgent and humbly request that when you play nottingham rock city you start with Juanita/kiteless. For why? well, back in 2001 (or maybe 2000 not really sure but think it was 2001) you played in the dance tent at the v-festival at weston park. my brother, my missus and our friend jackie walked from the 2nd stage to the dance tent (the other side of the site whilst coming up big style on sunrises).....i remember the ground was VERY uneven and we were holding each other up as we staggered across the site. we got into the tent about 10 mins before you started and managed to get right down the front. You came on stage with big grins and started off with the said juanita/kiteless just as we were leaving reality. it was one of the key moments of our lives that we will never forget.....we don't think we have EVER been taken higher by a single piece of music........as an aside, whhen we looked around after the first 20 mins of your gig we noticed 2 shrewsbury drug squad down by us on the barrier texting away SO me and me brother started dancing like motherfuckers and kept banging into them then apologising unitl me bro got fed up and chucked a bottle of water (wot a waste) over them whereupon they left . all i can remeber for the rest of the gig was when water started pouring through the tent (rain) and my missus saying 'ooooh free water# until we ponited out it was raining and we all fell about laughing and the music was taking us higher and higher and then these girls gave us water to drink as we were bolloxed and this girl says 'wow, you guys really have sunflower eyes .... was one of the musical/mystical moments of our lives which we still talk about today!.....at the end of the concert virtually everybody had gone but it was still raining so we lingered around and this big black lad (security)came over and said 'sorry, you got to leave' then he saw our mate jackie's cleavage (very impressive) and said ok, you can stay a bit longer as long as yu stay by me...hahahahaha! we took him to the bar and had a great hour talking to him about his experiences.......to cut a long story short, an epic night which none of us have ever forgot and still big with us today....especially when we hear Juanita/kiteless so thats why i'm asking a massive favour.....i doubt if you'll read this guys but if you do you will make us sooooo happy if you do our most memorable track
