Outside Closer - Hood: Best of the year so far, along with single of the year in 'The Lost You'.
Ok Cowboy - Vitalic: It's already been said, best loud album going right now. The Milk of Human Kindness - Caribou: Dan Snaith continues to pave the path for a genre all his own. Our Thickness - The Russian Futurists: Any album this light and cheery sounding that's able to pull me in is a release of the year contender. Before The Dawn Heals Us - M83: Amazing translation live puts it here where it belongs. Both the Doves and New Order albums have pleased me greatly in an otherwise rather soft half year for music. Junk- Coldplay, NIN, Daft Punk, Most of the Billy Corgan effort. |
