really loving all that theyre doing with karls voice in the newer work. for all the talk that vocals on underworld have always been just another instrument i think this is some of the best examples. its really amazing stuff. from the vocoder in jal to tokyo (which is slowly but surely growing on me) to TT from the webcasts. the "walk with me sample" on dub shepherd is reallly fantasic.. especially leading into lenny penne. peggy sussed is very dylan-esque...very sexy. and then that dub sounding "ambient track" from the hmh festival has some gorgeous vocal. fantastic to see him trying so many new things with his voice.
