Drift Encodings
Just noticed something running Air Towel and Pearls Girl through MusicBrainz Picard:
- Air towel was encoded in Logic Pro X 10.4.4 - Pearls Girl was encoded in iTunes 12.9.4.94 both of which are the most recent versions. So, I took a look at the other releases, as far as we got MP3's to download: - Small Conker And A Twix: iTunes 12.9.2.5 Drift 2: - Apple Shine: iTunes 12.9.2.5 - Molehill: iTunes 12.9.2.5 - Threats of Rain: iTunes 12.9.2.5 - Brussels: iTunes 12.9.2.5 - Soniamode: iTunes 12.9.2.5 - Appleshine Continuum (I do not recall if this was a download, but I have it as iTunes encode, so I assume it was): iTunes 12.9.2.5 - Are you rockstar?: Logic Pro X 10.4.4 - Twist: Logic Pro X 10.4.2 Drift 3: - Dune: no download - Custard Speedtalk: Logic Pro X 10.4.4 - This Must Be Drum Street (Film Edit): Logic Pro X 10.4.4 - Pinetum: iTunes 12.9.4.94 - Poet Cat: iTunes 12.9.4.94 - Air towel was encoded in Logic Pro X 10.4.4 - Pearls Girl was encoded in iTunes 12.9.4.94 Drift 4: - Listen To Their No: no download - Schiphol Test: iTunes 12.9.4.94 I will continue to update this list. I wonder how they use Logic? For mastering? Or for actual production? I always thought Rick would rather use pro tools, but I have no clue? Does anyone one have any recent interviews about that?
