Interesting Guardian Article
Reading this today about the demise of old indie bands such as The Verve and questioning why they are getting so much praise and high gig slots at festivals like T in the Park/Glastonbury. Whilst The Verve and Ashcroft in particular are getting slatted, bands such as Underworld and Portishead are getting praised for still pushing the music creative boundaries.
If anything i'd agree a little and wonder why people are going nuts over The Verve coming back. It is 90's memories flooding back and in my eyes a means to an end for them to reap in a bit of money. I thought they split because they hated each other? Maybe i'm just being to critical. http://music.guardian.co.uk/rock/com...rc=rss&feed=39
