About your previous post missing the point in this thread... (although i agree with you regarding the bit rate thing - and it bothers me not, its like 'why buy a HD TV, but the quality is better'... its a matter of preference, and affordability)

But this entire thread has got nothing to do with bit rates at all, its about how people go about voicing their concerns - and not whining, moaning or spitting out their dummies when all is not 100%...

Had someone started a simple thread pointing out the differences of bit rates and engaged a nice friendly discussion on it then i wouldn't have got so stressed out by people 'moaning' (and i know i'm not the only one ) but someone started screaming and shouting and then people jumped on the bandwagon and i just thought it was not on - and now its been rectified by the powers that be, and people are still not happy beacuse they should have made the bit rate higher, or released it in Flac or whatever...

people - just start a discussion, but don't bash anyone... we can talk this through... Underworld are watching and they do take note, but keep it freindly eh???

Ok, so this is where we differ. I see a lot of complaining, but none of it is "OMG this is shit Rick and Karl are bastards I hate UW and want my money back!" When you love a certain thing, sometimes no gentle constructive (or, not negative) criticism can come across as that, sometimes it all sucks to hear.

But to top it though, the responses to the disappointment that some people are feeling has been much more scathing than the expressed disappointment. And the fact that I'm typing in this thread, on page 7, a thread that was started to tell people to quit with airing their disappointments... is just wrong. Eventually people would've got over their frustrations, eventually people would've learned that the bitrate would've been improved, yada, yada, yada. But no, because of an insatiable need to sweep the negative comments under the carpet, we've carried out this saga in it's own thread (we should've installed neon blinking lights in the title ) and what good does that do?

And me, I've just been having a laugh at how stupid and trivial these complaints all are. And that's what you get when you knit-pick and get idiosyncratic -- immature banter from me. But in the end Matt... I wouldn't be talking about the forums being filled with whining and moaning when you yourself started a thread just for it. And if you'd let people have their own differing opinions about R&K's work and allow them to voice them without demanding they be prim and proper like Alfred The Butler in Buckingham Palace, then we wouldn't have 7 pages of whining, moaning and gnashing of teeth... all in it's own thread, the thread that you started.

So, will everyone kindly voice their opinion to the sales team at underworldlive.com and let these threads sink, and take this just as one to grow on?
