Je peux te l'expliquer. Des fois, ta tourneur de phrase en anglisch est entierement correcte, mais laisse la place pour une interpretation marrante. Style "ils ont faim" - ca se traduit tout a fait bien comme tu l'as fait, mais c'est une idiome Francaise qu'on n'utilise pas de la meme facon en Anglais. Alors, Dubman l'a pris au sens litteral - ils ont faim, ils ont besoin de bouffer. Et pour ca, il a rigole. Mais je ne crois pas qu'il se moquait de toi, plutot qu'il exprimait que ca lui faisait rire.

Machin Chouette has an excellent command of English, just gets her idioms in a muddle sometimes.

afaik Dubman, Janie and Leon are now mods. Dub and Janie are in charge of cleaning while Leon is in charge of looking confused and running around asking everyone "what's a vinyl?"
