Food Topic: Tea
I have recently been drinking alot of Teas. My favorite so far is Té de Manzanilla, which I found out yesterday is Chamomile.
So, got any teas you all would recommend? I always use honey rather than sugar for the flavoring, I wonder what you use? |

Re: Food Topic: Tea
Being British I am extraordinarily fussy (and boring) when it comes to tea. I will occasionally drink a fruit or herb tea for a change, but I normally drink about 4 pints of proper tea a day.
Proper tea = strong, something like an Assam or Assam mix - always indian, never china tea. Milk, no sweetener. The colour has to be like a good sun-tan on fair skin. Brands I like, in order of preference, are: Clipper Fair Trade Yorkshire Gold Tetleys strong In terms of "other" teas, depending on my mood, I like Twinings Lemon and Ginger, which is great is you have a cold, or generally in need of something comforting, sometimes jasmine tea before bed. Mint tea is a nice, refreshing, soothing "morning after" drink too, but to my mind, nothing beats good old fashioned lorry-drivers tea.
