UW on the cover of this months REMIX
Congrats on the cover guys! I was especially into reading about the Instrumentation and I always love how you guys stand up for electronic musicians who are actually working on stage, fighting that stereotype that we all just push play!

any chance of making a transcript of this? Does it go much into the technical production side of things? (seems like it's some sort of music-tech mag?)

I'll scan and post tomorrow. It's a good mag, really just on electro bands, some production and reviews of plugins and albums. The article is especially good, and does list some technicals and other bits. Best part, as I say, is Karl talking about the Mixing Board being Rick's Instrument. It's so badass to see someone as awesome as UW stand up for the rest of us who so many like to say "don't play real instruments".

UW FTW! I'll post links tomorrow.

Botkiller, please do scan it. Remixmag seems reluctant about updating their website.

The article is up on the site now, just not the cover.

BTW, Karl addresses the whole "playing without a setlist" thing, and how it's different this year.

Edit: My bad; the cover's there too. Looks like a nice picture:

?Sometimes you miss the direction,? Hyde acknowledges, ?or maybe it was a better direction but it cut across your initial idea. One of the best things that ever happened to me was the mute button. Rick might take me out because he doesn't think what I am doing is appropriate.
At Denver during the break in Born Slippy would be the best example of this.

Great article, nice to hear more about the technical aspect of things.
