...on the midnight train to Romford. Respect to everyone for being such diehard fans and thank you for the compressed peaks.
The first 10 minutes i listened, hoping it would get better but it didn't. It was great to hear the boys again though.

Re: Live Broadcast 13-11-07 (Tokyo Oblivion Ball Special)
BTW, as a QuickTime troubleshooting tip, if you're having skipping/dropping/connecting problems with QuickTime streams, try this:
1. Open QuickTime in your Control Panel (System Preferences for Macs) 2. Click the Advanced tab 3. Change the Transport Setup to "Custom" 4. Choose "HTTP" and leave it on Port 80. Click OK. 5. Click OK again (on Windows). 6. Close QuickTime Player or your web browser, and relaunch it, and try the stream again. |

So nice to finally hear Rick & everyone around him happy, making fun & playing music (and specially a visibly healthy Rick).
And thanks to everyone involved in this very joyous webcast.

Re: Live Broadcast 13-11-07 (Tokyo Oblivion Ball Special)
Holy crap, I just heard Rick + Karl answer my question on the webcast re: Steve Reich's influence! Best way to end the day ever.
("Music for 18 Musicians" is a fantastic album, by the way. The shifting, gradually developing patterns of Born Slippy and .Telematic that got me into Underworld so many years ago are there in Reich and Glass' work, too.) Last edited by swannman; 11-14-2007 at 12:00 AM. |
