Alex Smoke creates his own label
From Beat Factor.
Will be interesting to see who he actually signs up, given that Quote:
Will also be interesting to see how the label will rank alongside the likes of other European favourites like Kompakt and Shitkatapult. Good luck Alex. Bated breath here.

Re: Alex Smoke creates his own label
starting a label is nothing exciting these days....in the past year there were a shitload of new labels and sub-labels, especially in the minimal/techno sector. i have so many 12"s from new german labels, but most of the releases remain pale compared to the ones on the established ones, but maybe that's just me.
i dont think smoke's label can rival the global players, especially not kompakt, which is probably one of the most important names in europe these days (the mp3 shop, the distribution, the booking agency...they are freakin huge), but as long as there is some fine stuff it is more than welcome.

Re: Alex Smoke creates his own label
Dr. Mr. Smoke. You have 1 song, arranged 50 different ways. You name them different names, but they're actually the same song. Will your label see you releasing a song with a slightly different forumula?
