Dark Train ... Get Chills everytime i listen to it, comes from when i saw them in chicago in 1999, ah the memories.

just about every uw song affects me one way or the other. amdist karls unique way of expressing himself, there's always something to either smile, laugh, scream, jump, and even cry over.

of any uw song that hits me the deepest everytime, i would have to choose sola sistim:
my favourite line -
"my insecurities, my devious nature, make it go away"

"beautiful, broken, my crystal fingers, beautiful, broken, my crystal fingers"

another is dirty epic:
"and i feel so shaken in my faith"

"and the light it blinds my eyes"
"well i got phone sex to see me through the emptiness in my 501's"

... how could one not have bittersweet feelings while listening to this track... i think I'm going to listen to it now after I listen to pray and sola sistim.

also pray:

"pray for me... as you do for peace... in a world of aggression..."
"millions cry around the world, but I cry in your back garden"

"please pray for me and i'll pray for yoouuuuuu, well it's not revolutioooon, but it's something, something we can dooooooooo.... pray, aaaaaallllllll daaaaaaaayyyyyy"

great stuff. there's quite a few songs that get to me too:
skym
please help me
born slippy .NUXX (if played at the right moment)
most o'spitable
to dream of love
simple distinctive (floating world)
two months off (it gets me behind the ears)
deep arch
puppies... and the list could go on forever...

Yes, it could... I forgot Stagger. I think it makes me sad becuase it's the end of the album, but it's pretty dark with a nice groove.

i would say tounge. i just love this song and it makes me feel very emotional. happy and i suppose slightly sad (as sad as uw songs get me) at the same time.

Not to say Leutin is sad, but the nostalgia style sound sometimes causes my mind wander to days gone by.

Esp. the last minute or so sequences.

So do I. 8ball has this uplifting kind of melancholy that makes me a little sad but at the end always leaves me, as was said here before, "... happy".

firstly, hi again all! I've not been on in a few.

secondly; the UW song that always gets to me a bit is def. dirty epic, the lyrics and the feel of the song just get me everytime...

also "cherry pie" - something about that song, it's rising bass line, the overall feel of it, it just really makes me think about life, everything going on around me.

love those songs...
