ok - this song keeps popping up randomly on tv, in stores, in mixes, or in my head


...and it's been happening on and off again for quite some time now. I think I heard it first on like a VH1 behind the music on Studio 54, or it was some performer who'd hang out there alot

it goes something like "You can't be funky if you haven't got soul!" there might be a part that goes "dance dance dance, talk talk talk"

it sounds very "late 70's / early 80's" & is sung by a woman, who somewhat sounds like Debbie Harry, but don't quite me on that - as I've never been a huge fan of Blondie...

If it wasn't for the fact that I seem to remember hearing it such a long time ago - I would think it was even a DFA production...

so anyone know what the track is?
