Underworld in DJMag
hello folks

underworld have a little half page write-up in DJMag at the mo.

A wee bit of interesting news (well, it was news to me!)

Karl on the Riverrun projects:
"and the third one will be more techno based."

oh, and btw, was Mother Earth ever released seperately from The Hump?
I only ask cos DJMag says "Underworld released their first record "Motherearth", closely followed by "The Hump".

Now as far as i know, they were released on the same 12" (i have it). That is about as closely followed as you can get!!!

Could be the perfect follow-up to the experimental "Lovely Broken Thing" and the chilled "Pizza For Eggs"...a banging, dancefloor-filler/killer monster EP! i hope...

Re: Underworld in DJMag
the most interstingthing i noticed about this article is this statement:

"Karl Hyde and Rick Smith have signed off the next two years to releasing music solely through their website"

indicating no 'album', but this isn't soley true, as we know or fact that vinyl & remixes will be issued, but it does suggest that an album isn't gonna come out...

then again, you can't entirely trust the article fully, seeing as they said that the score to Clive Barker's Underworld was a 'success' - first it blows as a movie and secondly the soundtrack to that movie never was released - not a success in my book, then they go on and say they released Mother Earth followed by The Hump, as already pointed out, it was on the same 12"....

i genuinely felt bad for posting that in the other thread. i felt like everyone thought i was a trouble maker because i interpretted differently. im just glad now that (whether this info is true or not) its still a big confusion.
