The legendary Mr Drummond is still up to his old tricks.

Great article here...

Re: No Music Day.
Not a problem for me. I rarely listen to music anymore. I go weeks or months without listening to anything.

By this I mean, me putting on a cd or something to listen too. Obviously, when I am outside, I am forced to hear other peoples music blasting from their cars, or the backround music at the store and at places to eat etc.

When I do listen to the radio, I listen to talk radio, or some prerecorded lectures, discussions or debates. I much rather hear people talk and get their idea's on things. I feel that this expands your consciousness gives you a greater sense of awareness to life, in a way that music will never be able to do.

I know that may sound lame to most of you, but I feel like 90% of music today sucks anyway.

i hate so much talkie-kind programs -exept for very rare cases. I'd rather listen to music -not all genres- than hearing crap from more stupid people than me.

anyway.... I'd prefer SILENCE whatsoever.

as it happens, they stacked the cans into a cube and put them on the back of a flat-bed lorry. they mostly fell off the lorry and went everywhere, but the rest went to the homeless.

actually, i think it's fantastic, because i listen to talk radio for that reason too.

anyway, while it was too late that day to actually do it (i start the music at around 7am) i think to do it and his suggestions on what to do that day are really great

i'll try to keep it in mind next year.

Re: No Music Day.
You know its funny be SHEER chance i left my portable music listening devices at home this morning.

Which left me rather agitated, and forced me to start humming shit to myself on the way home. I'm a total music junkie and can't survive without some sort of musical input. Lo and behold I began to imagine the sorts of things i WANTED to hear. So it works.

That said I'm not sure I'm about to put myself through that again. I need my crack fix! First thing i did when I came home was throw the headphones on and rock out.
