Re: Recent Underworld set lists
they didn't play Air Towel at Roskilde in '96 -> they played it at the Quart Festival, Norway of that year though

Also i think that Jumbo as a closer is not a good choice, tin there is a perfect track with hard beats and nice melody to put it in the end of the show will give something new.

there were 2 reasons behind jumbo being the last song at both amsterdam and budapest. in amsterdam they ran out of time and wanted to play moaner but couldnt. in budapest they came on early and had extra time so for a festival set where it would normally get cut out of the set, they had time for an encore and to play it after moaner.

It was the last song they played on 12-8-2005 in Zurich

A nice last song would be Moaner, Rez/Cowgirl or Born Slippy (.Nuxx)

Re: Recent Underworld set lists
I never mind Jumbo as a final track. It's a beautiful track to send the crowd home on. For me, it's better than if they played some monster track, like Moaner or Cowgirl. Then I'd be all amped up when the lights came on. I rather like a chill down tune last.

They never played tin there, i hope that one day, they will do it, also i think that they must play some old tracks, spikee, dogman, puppies, deep arch...etc are wondefull tracks, i' dont understand why they didn't play them on the last summer's gigs ?? , Kitten also

2- dark & long
3- spoonman
4- Rez/cowgirl
5- two months off
6- luetin
7- dirty epic
8- dirty guitar improv
9- born slippy nuxx - 2003 edit
10- please help me improv - king of snake
11- pearls girl

Ive seen them open the show with Air Towel. Just the synth cords for a few minutes before the lights even hit the stage. was awesome. (Philly '98 i believe)

Re: Recent Underworld set lists
They've played airtowl several times, memorably at the Quart Festival 1996 (one of their best gigs, IMO).

I always wanted to hear them play Born Slippy Telematic. It would go pretty well with Tin There, I should imagine.
