Re: Burn After Reading
absolutely going to see this.
I don't know what it is about Coen trailers that underwhelm me so much. There last few good movies (Lebowski, O Brother, etc.) had trailers that just did not pull me in, but turned out to be absolutely fantastic films. |

Re: Burn After Reading
I am in Brussels at the moment, and head back to the US on Sunday, and will check this out while I am there.
But, I just got to say, that one of the few things that I truly love about the US is the BIG FUCKING MEGA MOVIE THEATERS!!!!!!!! It has been two and half years since I have set foot in that country, and I have been watching movies on my 13 inch Macbook in the meantime. Yes, Marrakech has a movie theater called Megarama, which is nice and huge, BUT, they overdub every damn movie in French, because the people there are too stupid to read subtitles!!!! They literally told me that no one would go to the movies if the english ones had subtitles. Overdubbing destroys a movie.

The US has the lion's share of the movie market, but it is only fair that people should be allowed to see it dubbed into a language they understand in their own countries, ffs.
