worst birthday ever........................caught camplobacter (sp??) in Shanghai and was terribly sick for 3 weeks on my return. ruined mine and my daughter's 3rd birthday, unless of course your idea of fun is surviving on toast while going to the bathroom 8 or 9 times a day.

on the plus side best diet ever, lost nearly one and a half stone in 3 weeks............now time to put it back on over xmas

Ouch! Campylo can be a very nasty disease.....similar bacterial family to Cholera.......needs a very low infective dose too. 2 of my mates were hospitalised by it in portugal a few years back and one had to be air-ambulanced back with severe dehydration.....hope your feeling better now........
