new Chemical Brothers collection in Sept.
From their page:

"Following their fifth consecutive number 1 album last year, the Grammy award winning ‘We Are The Night’, The Chemical Brothers return with ‘Brotherhood’ a best of collection with a kick and a twist, set for release on 1st September 2008.

The Chemical Brothers have established themselves as true pioneers of electronic music and have become one of the most popular dance acts of all time. Now seems the perfect time to take stock of their seminal output with the double disc celebration that is Brotherhood.

Brotherhood comprises of 2 discs, the first is a collection of 14 undeniable benchmark Singles from the band's immense back catalogue and new track ‘Keep My Composure’ which features the shimmering flow of Baltimore’s Spank Rock.

The 2nd will feature exclusively Electronic Battle Weapons 1-10. Since 1996 Electronic Battle Weapons have acted as the laboratories for The Chems devious musical experiments and laid the rhythmic and melodic foundations for numerous tracks as well as providing some of the duos most formidable mixes. Until now Electronic Battle Weapons 1-9 have only been available on various limited formats and this is the first time they have been widely available.

Brotherhood will be preceded by the digital download single Midnight Madness on 4th August 2008. Derived and developed from Electric Battle Weapons 10, Midnight Madness is The Chemical Brothers at their most infectious, euphoric, report to the dancefloor best.

Hmm, well, i guess it's been five years and two albums since "The Singles 1993-2003", but do we really need another best-of-collection? What's to add? "Push the Button" and "Do it Again", i suppose. Still, not necessary.
Smells like money.

The collection of EBW's is nice for completists, though most of those folks probably have them already amongst their singles.

well for me the EWB's would make this worth a purchase cause i haven't really got any of the singles.

And it'll be nice to be able to get the EBW's on CD.

yep, like i said above. It's only been 5 years and two albums. Interestingly, the 1993-2003 singles package also spawned "hits" "Get Yourself High" and "Golden Path"...wouldn't be surprised if one/both of those appeared on the new collection, as well as the singles from PTB and WATN. Just so long as no "Salmon Dance".

Wish you could just buy the EBW's digitally, like the Chems have done with their B-sides recently.

Re: new Chemical Brothers collection in Sept.
the thing that gets my goat is that theres nothing new to put on the best of since both albums since then have been dismal, if not flat out, then at least in comparison.
a single discs of EBWs would be fine, though flimsy still since most of them are just tweaks from later album versions.

mildly awaiting b-sides vol 2...

This is true, but sometimes the whole is significantly greater than the sum of its parts.
