So back in 1996, a song came out by a group called R.O.C. that got tons of airplay on KCRW out here in Los Angeles. The song was called "I Want You I Need You I Miss You", and it's still one of my favorite songs ever.

I recently ended up exchanging a few emails with Patrick Nicholson, one of the three members of R.O.C., and he invited me to do a remix of one of their songs. I chose my favorite song of theirs, he sent me the parts, and I made my mix. Now you can listen to it here.

EDIT - Just thought I'd share how Patrick, one of the three members of R.O.C., described the mix:

"sumptuous and dreamy...the groove is great, love the vocal treatment and especially the cymbals and drumfills towards the end. i hate to use the 'chilled' cliche but it's really got a refreshing sound - i think it'll sound brilliant in summer bars and clubs."
