Book of...
pardon me, but holy shit.
we're about to get drowned in books.

Book of:

NATURE by rick smith (wanting this one. the shots in Jam are amazing)
TOKYO by karl hyde
WHITE by karl hyde (intriguing...)
WORDS by karl hyde (first volume in a series of pre-lyrics scribbling that you and i will absolutely pick up and renders that recent auction kind of worthless. recontextualization, ho!)
QI by john warwicker (his recent typographical excursions for this new look of underworld have been nothing short of outstanding, inspiring, and beautifully elegant. need to pick this up)
RIVERRUN by karl hyde and rick smith
PAINT by john warwicker

Goodness.
no word on the audio front but lots of reading material coming. hopefully at least some of it in printed form. if not i'm sorely tempted to take these pdfs to lulu for a proper book printout i can hold and look at, not on a screen.

GOD these guys keep busy. so freakin' awesome. I still love my copy of St. paul - I'm happy to say I'm one of the few that owns one.

Re: Book of...
me too. there was a snafu with the picture which resulted in a re-send with an attatched newspaper clipping featuring an ad for JAL airlines (a year before JAL to Tokyo, hah), an article on benjamin zephaniah, and one on obsessive bodybuilders. there was a note of thanks and an autograph from karl above the accompanying hideous picture. it was perfect.

Is Book of White just a joke? Go to your printer. Look in the tray. VoilĂ*! Book of White.

Going back in time for a bit while buying old issues of IDEA magazine featuring tomato and pulled up my old Book of Jam ,pdfs. Did anyone get copies of the Underworld Print books? I am curious how they look and if anyone has copies .

Were there ever digital versions of the Books?

Also - Reviewing Book of Jam 1-17 and noticed I am missing #18! Any help with that would also be appreciated.

Re: Book of...
Man, half those books listed never came out. "Underworld Print" never physically published any books, outside of In the Belly of St. Paul's. All those Books of Jam were digital-only.

You should be able to download most of the Books of Jam, including #18, here:

Re: Book of...
Thanks for the link! I honestly couldn't remember why I wouldn't have purchased/ downloaded the Underworld Print books back in the day.

Re: Book of...
For #18, it's understandable to have missed it, because it was posted, without fanfare, a couple years after the batch of 11-17 had been posted.

Re: Book of...
Does anyone have Book of Jam #10 and 12 to share? Looks like the Wayback didn't pull those two PDFs. Guess I've been missing everything after #9, but the rest are available there. Thanks!
