Dirts and their (T-)shirts
I've been meaning for years to do myself a t-shirt to wear to UW gigs saying "Dirty Lipstick Boy", and now we've got tickets to the Manchester Apollo gig, my ex-other half is planning on doing "Dirty Epic Angel Babe".

So I thought this might be a good way to celebrate our love of the band and get our creative juices flowing, to pick a name beginning with "Dirty", and print / stencil / draw / embroider / otherwise embelish a shirt or t-shirt to wear to the appropriate gigs. I think this make a great 'Oh, you're a dirt too' calling card, as well as an interesting and international collaborative art project: The DirtShirts Collective.

Comments? Futher ideas?

Peace,

Dr. Matt...

Cool idea. I know http://www.spreadshirt.net (click Create) lets you ping them off a design/text and they turn it into a super-duper bespoke T for you; I've bought from them plenty of times - very quick turnaround and the quality is top bollock.

Only thing is, surely everyone'd just have DirtyNumbAngel (I know I would!)

Had a look at this site. I can get what I want for £13.50 plus postage, which seems well reasonable. Bookmarked!

Re: Dirts and their (T-)shirts
Being a natural-fibered lazy git, I cheated and just bagged a Bruce Lee promo T off eBay instead. If I was any good with Photoshop etc I'd have cobbled together a snazzy custom UW jobby, but hey ho. Dirty Resonator would've been the nadgers.

If only there was some way of magically getting my Second Toughest T off its last legs. New Vanish MaxiAction, maybe?

'lipstick-fodder' is a phrase i hear (though it probably isn't) in 'push upstairs'; i'll be having it frontside, with my sig scrolling across the back...

(and maybe 'i'm dirty' on the sleeve!)
