iTunes are now selling both version of "the Isness"
...so do you think this means FSOL will finally admit that the early promo version (aka the accidentally released US version) is better than the final released album?

I don't know if they will, but I sure as hell admit it.

Re: iTunes are now selling both version of "the Isness"
I can tolerate most of the changes they did, but it boggles my mind how they could mess up Galaxial Pharmaceutical like they did and think it was somehow better. I just can't figure it out. And re-releasing a trimmed down version of 'The Lovers' that was already on their prior album? I don't get that either.

So yeah put me in the 'the promo version was better' camp too.

yea - the only tracks that seemed to improve between versions were "Mello Hippo Disco Show" (which included some more bits of "Trying to Make Impermanent Things Permanent") and "Go Tell it to the Trees Egghead" which was shortened a bit

but that certainly doesn't mark that much of an improvement overall
