Hi all,

Did everyone catch the new Chemical Brothers tracks on Pete Tong's Essential Selection last night? Exclusive plays of EBW8 & EBW9... You should be able to hear it on the listen again feature on bbc.co.uk/radio1 - EBW8 is 78 mins in and i think 9 is about 90 mins in...

I really liked the Battle Weapon 8 - very dirty sounding, lots of bass and breaks, i also liked Battle Weapon 9 so much but i need a few more listens to make a better judgement

Anyone isolated an mp3 from that Real stream? I can't play it on my browser or whatever. If not, oh well.

That would be aces! i scoured the internet for rips, but no luck. i too am missing a plug-in or something. Maybe will try it out on another machine?

Anyone remember the other EBW's and what became of them?

EBW1: essentially "It Doesn't Matter", plus some squiggly acid noises
EBW2: version of "Get Up on it like this"
EBW3: "Under the Influence"
EBW4: "Freak of the Week" (B side, on American EP, and really kickin!)
EBW5: "It began in Afrika"
EBW6: version of "Hoops"
EBW7: "Acid Children" (B side to Galvanize)

now... just to find either a hard-copy or a good enough rip of the tracks to actually be able to play and use...

thanks for the links! sound exactly like i expected them to. im liking 9 a little better than 8, but not really into either as much as i was into the earlier ones.
