Working away from home at the moment means I've been using a few taxis, and I've gotten friendly with a Pakistani guy called Maz - we talk about UK bhangra a lot and the other day he gave me this new album (Groundshaker - it's tops) by an artist called Aman Hayer.

By the way fuck me! The only other person I've seen say here that they like bhangra is Janie - any of you guys who don't know what it sounds like, it's pretty much Indian and Pakistani dance music, Uk bhangra is the "UK flava" style. Loads of tablas and interesting percussion, lovely vocals. Have a poke around this guy's site, the track Tharti Hilde is fucking massive by the way.
