Final Fantasy - Advent Children

So, this came out on dvd last week over here...
anyone seen it? Is it any good? The other FF movie was pretty dumb mostly, although very pretty.

I saw it a few months ago. Fans of the game will love it.

It's so totally NOT like the other FF movie, so if you think that sucked (as I did) you might wanna check this out.

The action scenes are hot.

Aye I saw this around Christmas. Didn't realise it was coming out so soon though. Is it out in Britain? Anyway, yeah, my friend had a Japanese import or something and I thought it was well cool. Not exactly the most complex plot but the animation was brilliant and the music was great too.

Hmm...I see a bunch of eye candy and confusing fight scenes....but I LOVE IT!!!

So I got the dvd finally...
and I really like it. The plot is meh, and the bad guy(s) aren't very impressive (and actually a bit girly, except for the Bahamut dragon thing!), but the fight sequences more than make up for it. It's also great how all the characters from FFVII come and help out along the way...
Makes me want to play the game again...

Speaking of well-done action sequences, I finally just bought the first disc of Ghost in the Shell: 2nd Gig. Best show ever. The action sequence in episode four with the AI piloted helicopters is so well executed.

I own a non-bootlegged copy of it in Japanese with the worst fucking sub ever. They say Shinlo. SHINLO!!! The fansubs were far better.

How's the english dub?
