those OTHER unreleased tracks...
With the release of "Scribble" and the tracklist revelation that "Barking" will include a number of tracks that we have heard previous versions of ("Always Loved a Film", "Moon in Water", "Diamond Jigsaw", "Between Stars", perhaps "Bird 1"/"Strumpet"), annnd the inevitable moaning for a studio "Bamboo"... i had a look through the last few years of UW radio shows - here are the OTHER tasty tracks that were played, but not yet released. Who knows how many are still works in progress?
"Something" (12/15/05) "Something (chant)" (5/13/06) "Glitchy Beats" (that's the name we gave it at the time, anyway) "Something Atmospheric" (includes the "down by the river, two dogs attack each other" lyric) "Santeago" (4/23/08 broadcast) "Stoffer" "Santeago Quatro" "Jumping then Cran" "auto Trader" (ok, this appeared on UWlive also) "Santeago Peel" "Helens Nails" "Quid Odd" "Soopher" (6/11/08 broadcast; essentially a Momove version) "Telematic Peel" " "Toobee" " "Are You Rockstar?" (12/11/08) "Longing for What" " "The Surrealist Object" (i think this may be what was later labeled as "Barking" on UWLive ??) "Bennets World Template" " "Radio Vox" " "Binari C" "Richard Burton" " "Geezer" (mixed into Faxed Invitation) "Mr Bambi Rocks" "Dub Jam" Yes, i know there were more UW tracks played in these shows and several others, but those tended to be "ALAF", "Bamboo" or stuff direct from UWLive or later appeared on the River Runs or OWB. No, i don't know where you can hear these if you don't already have them - they used to be archived at UWLive - so head over to RTSR, y'all!

Re: those OTHER unreleased tracks...
I'm pretty sure Soopher is done, and Rick has no intentions of going back and doing any more work on it. It's been heard in the same form since 2003-ish in WISP, Adidas (and another place, I'm blanking on), and I think the radio broadcast is their way of releasing it to us.
Also, I'm pretty sure Geezer is just the work-in-progress name for Faxed Invitation (like Biro the Leggy and Eager Hot One). |

Re: those OTHER unreleased tracks...
I was hoping Santeago would be released somehow; it was one of their greater ambient works (even though it seems like they can never disappoint me with their ambient pieces). "Are you Rockstar?" is special to me as well, especially how they incorporated one of the greatest films of all time in it (2001: A Space Odyssey of course!). Although I kind of figured they wouldn't release this; it has a very experimental feel to it. I'm just glad they included it in their broadcasts, I was able to get a good rip of it.

Re: those OTHER unreleased tracks...
What about "TT" from the 2005-02-10 Dirtyradio Broadcast? That track is amazing imo, reminds me of "Food A Ready" from the Pizza For Eggs Riverrun release, and seems very polished.
