i know this is way old news, but i had no idea. i'm watching 'hackers' on HBO, and during the scene where the main character beats angelina jolie at a video game, cowgirl is playing. very nice.

Yup, one of MKII's first big movie appearances.

Here are their other movie appearances:

That movie turned me onto Underworld!
Great soundtrack if you never knew anything about 90's electronic music.

Re: underworld in movie 'hackers'.
Guess alot of us were turned onto UW about the same time. The funny thing is, I had this soundtrack w/Cowgirl and I also had the Saint soundtrack w/Pear's Girl and had no idea that these were the same brilliant minds behind .NUXX... hahaha... I must have had those for about 2 years before I actually started getting into UW..., now... well, the rest is history...

...anxiously awaiting a return visit to L.A...

That soundtrack turned a lot of people I know onto UW. The movie kinda blew, but the soundtrack was very good, at least back in the 90's when this kind of music was cool

"Cherry Pie" was on the Vol. 2 soundtrack to Hackers. I always thought that sound would have been perfect to play during the movie credits.

Yup! - and the movie soundtrack - all three volumes - is what got me into Underworld! (...and Prodigy ...and Orbital ...and Leftfield ...and BT ...and electronic music in general ...but mainly Underworld!)

Re: underworld in movie 'hackers'.
I was just getting into UW when this movie came out. I'd already had NUXX (on repeat!) but had not yet delved into the back catalog until I heard Cowgirl on MTV's Amp. Funny thing, when I went to the CD store to buy the album, I couldn't remember the name 'Cowgirl' but did remember that it had a woman's name or something to it. So at the store I held in one hand Dubnobass, and in the other Second Toughest trying to decide which one to get. After scanning the track list of both, and because a conveniently placed price sticker covered up the Dubno trackname 'Cowgirl', I opted for STITI because of the 'waitress' mention. Surely that HAD to be what I couldn't remember.

A week later after loving STITI, I went back and got Dubno.
