Studying abroad in Spain, any advice?
Whenever I need advice, I often rely on these forums.

Has anyone ever studied abroad in Spain or in another country?

I really would like to study abroad in Spain. I keep searching Google for tips and advice on where to inquire for such information along with scholarships/aid but its all so confusing and I don't know if what I'm looking at is a scam or not.

any advice would be greatly appreciated,

thanks

Ever play that game in school where the teacher whilspers something in the first childs ear, then each child passes it along to the last child?

It was a joke Rog.

Re: Studying abroad in Spain, any advice?
You are in the US, right?

There is no doubt that I can recommend a big fat GO as advice about studying abroad. As an ex-pat, it is awesome, and I have been gone for 2 and half years. Granted I am in Morocco at the moment, but I have gone to Spain a couple times since being here, as the ferry ride is only 35 minutes to Tarifa.

About finding places that aren't scams, then you need to do some research. How I found places was through like-minded individuals who have already done what I wanted to do.

After going back to the US last month for the first time, I can say that I felt like a visitor and definitely can't see me living there again. (unless I become a millionaire and can have one of my houses there etc) I am not saying that you will feel like that but you never know...

Anyway, if it is something that you want to do, then go for it. Many people tried to talk me out of leaving, but I stayed with it, and it has been the best journey in my life!
