José González
ive heard loads about this guy over one song but i never seemed to find his stuff. the other day, i found his cover of teardrop on youtube, and could not believe the power that came over me, it was better than church!

then, then i saw his cover of love will tear us apart, and that just, that took the load. i have learned both songs on guitar now, and plan on getting as much as i can from him.
he's like, my kind of Fionn Regan.

(also, i recognized him from the Zero 7 album The Garden but never...engaged it)

pick anything up from him! its a must

Re: José González
while i still think that the knife's live version of 'heartbeats' is one of the best songs i have ever heard, i really enjoy mr. gonzalez's take as well saw him perform it just a few blocks from where i work too!

And you really only need to do this during The Pledge of Allegaince.

Hell, windmill or cabbage patch through The Star Spangled Banner for all I care.

Re: José González
In my opinion his entire first album is top notch. Definitely worth checking out.

Re: José González
the wife and i saw him live in london a few months ago and i was very impressed; especially after being underwhelmed by his 2nd lp compared to the genius of his first
