Only an hour and a half before I leave. I'm excited... haven't seen The Police together since 83/84. Wow.

The show I saw in LA was good....although Andy Summers seems to have forgotten how to play his guitar a bit.

Re: The Police at Twickenham
Well, for those of you old enough to be interested...

It was a brilliant show. I have to admit to being a tad choked up when they opened with Message in a Bottle. I was dancing my ass off but I couldn't sing along to begin with. I was such a huge Police fan in my teens and 20s and I suppose I had given up all hope of ever seeing them perform live again!

Obviously they played all the Greatest Hits, that was only to be expected, but I was surprised by some nicer, more obscure tunes like Wrapped Around Your Finger, Walking in Your Footsteps and A Hole in My Life.

And when you have a stadium full of 55,000 people singing along to the same song, the feeling of euphoria is just amazing. Almost as good as being right at the front at a UW gig

I hope I don't have to wait another 24 years to see them again
