Re: first OMG! moment of 2007
Well, Genesis are doing it, why not the Police?
I'm not sure this will happen, though...another article here: http://billboard.com/bbcom/news/arti..._id=1003527290 has Stewart Copeland saying it's fun to perform for a while, but they clearly get on each other's nerves fast. Also, has anyone seen Copeland's "Everyone Stares" home movie DVD? Though the bickering is kept to a minimum, his comments around the time of Ghost in the MAchine and Synchronicity are that Sting was taking over and no one was having fun. Who knows, though? Maybe they've matured past all that? It certainly would do wonders for their careers, inc. Mr. Sumner's i dare say!

Oh yes!!!!
Got my tix for 8th September at Twickenham. Stupid amount of money for tix but hey. Haven't seen them since 1983 SOOOOOOO excited, and being able to take my lad too, who is a huge Police fan. Awesome

Re: first OMG! moment of 2007
I wonder if Sting has any edge left in him. His new album of 17th century songs was good but his originals have all been weaksauce lately.
Here's to hoping that they don't record if Sting makes them write slumberfests. |
