BBC Radio 4's Front Row Special yesterday talked to Gabriel Yared about his collaborations on Cold Mountain and Breaking and Entering. Mr Hyde & Mr Smith's input is discussed about 16 mins into the show. Nice stuff and there's no doubting that Gabriel is a beautiful pianist

Can't wait to hear this, and not just for the UW mentions either. This guy is a brilliant musician and though I don't know infinite amounts about his work his soundtrack for City Of Angels was gorgeous.

You know, I was curious about this when I heard about it, but after hearing that it totally makes sense. That bit about UW picking up on just a tiny fragment of a tune from Gabriel Yared and doing stuff with it... that sounds like them, don't you think?

I bet a lot of stuff comes out of this that won't make in into the film. I wonder if we'll ever hear it...
