I saw that, too.

I'm not quite sure what to think other than the guy who directed Batman begins is also doing this one, so maybe he can work some magic with Ledger (no pun intended).

I was just going to post this. I've been hearing some outcry from fanboys, but it's not like Ledger is a bad actor or Nolan is a bad director. I'll give Ledger the benefit of the doubt for now.

well that makes my (ex off on again) girlfriend's idea impossible then. she heard that the scarecrow from the first one (cillian murphy) rides off on his crazed horse whilst in the narrows on all of those hallucinagens, and then falls into the acid or whatever.

and so the scarecrow becomes the joker. which would have been frigging amazing. but oh well.
