sigur ros @ the apollo manchester, anyone there?
Must say they were fantastic (couple of songs i wished they played but hey....), how the hell he reaches them notes so consistently i have no idea. The support act amiina (?) were fantastic, bought their ep (hmmm, they have more oooomph live, but still good).
Any dirts there? |

Wasn't there, but have seen 'em before! Glad you enjoyed.
So Amina did their own set? When i saw SR in 2003, Amina played back-up only. Some good lookin' girls in that group  You know, i've never heard Jonsi, the lead singer for Sigur Ros, speaking, so i dunno if his voice is naturally high or he's like the Bee Gees: just used to singing falsetto! Q: How many bows did he shred on his guitar?

Amina did about 4 songs as a part of their own set,i found them as equally interesting as sigur ros which i've never said about a support before...
He did talk! Nothing more than a thank you but it didn't seem too high..! Bows i didn't really notice but probably a good few! All cracking stuff and in fairness role on the amina album for lazy afternoons in the summer! |
